SHARE YOUR IDEAS WITH OTHERS

Today whilst at work a woman came in and asked me if I wanted a 'message of the day' and then handed me a selection of cards to choose from. I picked one of the cards and she asked me to read it to her. My card read 'Share your ideas with others'. As soon as she knew what the card said she walked away, it was a very weird yet surreal moment, and I wasn't really sure what to take from it until I got home later this evening.
I've been filling out applications to work for some of the UK's leading music festivals (no it's not what you're thinking... I'm not working on a food cart) I'm hoping to be heavily involved with filming the events and producing films about the festivals. This is a major opportunity for me, and one of the key skills I have to be able to demonstrate is the ability to blog. At first I was a bit sceptical about including Pretty Little Vibe as I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted people to know that I created it. Weird I know, but it's been like that with most things I do online.

But not anymore. Here I am now, sharing with you all who I am...
My name is Jessica Eaton and I am the creator of Pretty Little Vibe.

I grew up in Birmingham with my parents and Younger brother, and I wasn't very girly at all, looking back on it now, not many people would have looked and me and thought 'She's going to be a beauty blogger when she's older'.
I loved school and never really had any problems whilst I was there, I usually kept my head down and just tried to have fun with my friends.
I moved to Leeds last year to study law, but after a year I decided it wasn't for me and I made the decision to pursue a career in media instead. So now I'm currently studying Broadcast media and it is the change is the best thing I've done with my life so far.

So where did my interest in make up start? Well I always used to buy cheap make up and never really saw the benefits in buying high end make up as I thought it 'all turned out the same'. Boy was I wrong!
I remember after getting my first months wage at my part time job in Leeds I headed to the Mac counter at Harvey Nichols, I explained to the make up artist that I'd never used mac before and was looking at trying a few products. The make up artist did all my make up again for me and I instantly felt better about myself. I ended up buying all of the products she used on me (Sorry mom).
I even went in a few months ago and the make up artists who were behind the counter had complimented me on how good my make up looked and how well I had done it. My smile must had gone from ear to ear!
Ever since I've been branching out and trying different make up brands, I've fallen in love! Make up is something I love looking at, talking about, applying and buying.
