So what's in my bag?
Lets start off with the bag itself... My Michael Kors Mac bag! This is one of my most precious possessions. It has three main sections to the bag. The middle section has a padded lining to protect my Mac when I'm out and about. The front compartment has a phone holster as well as a medium sized pocket for things such as lipsticks, chewing gum and hair ties. The back section has a large pockets that is connected to the middle section - I usually stick my make up in this section away from everything else just in case anything leaks! There is also a zip pocket on the back section that is perfect for hiding sanitary towels and tampons! Only downside is that it doesn't have a zip to keep it closed so I can't take it out in the rain! Boo. Apple - £250
Not the most exciting item, I know, but a notebook is a must for Uni students. Don't expect to coast through without taking notes. Yes lecturers put their slides online, but it's not explained in as much detail as it is in class. You can also see that I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my notes, I loves everything to be colour coordinated and laid out correctly. It's the only way that it makes sense to me. Wilkinsons - £2
To help with my colourful obsession I carry around a huge pencil case with every coloured pen you could think of. You'll often see me at my desk surrounded by clutter trying to find which pen lid belongs to which pen. Collected over the years.
I take my iPad to uni with me, just because sometimes it's a little easier than getting my mac out, especially if it's just to quickly look something up. It fits in my bad nicely and doesn't weigh too much either. Pay Monthly Contract - £32pm
At the moment I've got the latest issue of Elle in my bag, I've marked all the pages I like and think I could create ideas on. I get this out if I've got a short break along with my blog notebook and jot down ideas that I can make my own. Elle - £4
Yep, you guessed it! My blog notebook has been travelling everywhere with my lately, and I find myself getting it out and the most random of times and writing ideas down so that I don't forget them! Urban Outfitters - £12
My Macbook. Now you might think it's a little weird for me to take my iPad and my mac, but I think it's nice to have the choice of which one to choose. They're both linked to iCloud so I can access any of my documents on either, it just depends on how I'm feeling on the day. Apple - Around £1500
As I mentioned in yesterdays post, all this work in front of the computers is putting a strain on my eyes, so I'm now required to wear glasses when at the computer and when concentrating. Of course i still want to look good so I chose a pair of Ray-Bans for my frames. Vision Express - £209
I have to travel for about twenty minutes to get to and from uni so having music is essential! I love zoning out and going into my own world when I walking to uni, it makes the time god so much quicker. It also helps me concentrate when editing as I can take myself out of the classroom and truly focus on what I'm doing. Apple £199
Now with being at Uni most days from 9 right through till 4 I have to make sure I stay fresh and smell good, so I always make sure I've got deodorant and perfume in my bag. This months flavour - Hugo Boss Orange.
I like to wear my hair down, and often don't style it after I've curled it the day before, I just leave it for a few hours and when I feel like it's a bit flat I chuck a bit of this in! It boost the volume in your hair so much! You look like you're ready to pull that guy you fancy behind the bar at the S.U!
If I'm having a super bad hair day, or my hair is getting in the way of my work I'll garb this clip out of my bag and put together a half up half down do, to keep the quirkiness of my wavy hair but to make it a little more professional for when I'm working. H & M - £2.99 (pack of two)
I often buy my lunch at Uni purely for the convenience of it, so I have to make sure I've got my purse to hand. I love the colour of this, and haven't found myself needing a new one in a while! It's done me proud! Topshop - £16
I try not to wear too much make up to Uni, but I always make sure I've got these on hand to sort out any beastie spots that appear during the day, I only take concealer as my make stays in most of the day, these are just for the imperfections that keep flaring up. I always apply my concealer with a Mac 287 brush.
Last but not least, I always chuck whatever lipstick I'm wearing in my bag so that I can top it up through out the day!
Let me know if you guys like this sort of post and I'll make sure to post more.
