Lipstick shopping is the only thing I seem to be doing at the moment, and it was only last month that I did my last post on them! BUT I've been at it again and this time I've treated myself to a few gems!
plink, shy girl, pure zen, myth, nevada
Mac Lustre - Plink
This is a very natural pink tone and is very similar to my lip colour - it's great if I don't want too much colour on my lips at work or just want something simple during the day. It has a very moisturising texture and feels very creamy on my lips, the creamy feeling last for a while too so you don't feel like it's dried out. It has a very glossy finish so there's no need for a clear gloss on top.
Mac Cremesheen - Shy Girl
This has a very sweet smell like most mac lipsticks and like plink it has a very moisturising texture. I tend to wear this when I'm out during the day as it has a very pretty finish but isn't too overpowering.
Mac Cremesheen - Pure Zen
I originally bought this lipstick at the start of the year and it is one of my favourites but I lost it on a night out about a month after buying it! It is very similar to Shy Girl, however I think that shy girl has more of an orange/copper undertone and looks a bit more shimmery on my lips. This is a super nice colour for summer and the peachy colour looks great with anything.
Mac Satin - Myth
I never saw myself wearing very nude colours on my lips - but then I discovered Myth! At first I thought it would make me look like I had foundation lips, but it doesn't. It has a slight pink undertone that stops it looking like you've slapped foundation all over your lips.
Topshop - Nevada (Mac Myth dupe!)
If you're wanting to buy Myth but you're not wanting to spend so much then this is definitely for you! Nevada is an amazing dupe, of course there are a few differences; Myth lasts slightly longer and has a sweeter smell - but apart form that you can hardly tell the difference!
