WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE?!

So it's almost been two months since I last blogged... Oops! However it's not all down to the fact that I'm a lazy bugger!
At the start of the month I moved into my new Princess Palace! Anyone who knows me will know how much of a dive my last uni house was, so moving ANYWHERE would have been better. The new house is fab despite my room being considerably smaller this year (I can no longer do cartwheels in my room). AND WE HAVE A DISHWASHER! Every students dream!

A week after moving in I set off to Portugal for Optimus Alive Festival which is without a doubt the best festival I've been to. We spent the first four days in a beautiful apartment in Lisbon city centre. It was a short train journey to the beach so we'd slot on down to Cascais everyday to make the most of the sun.

The night life in Lisbon was mental as well, there were so many other people who were there for the festival as well and drinks were dirt cheap! Just don't push in the toilet queue in front of Slovakian girls as they may threaten to cut your hair off.
On our fourth day we packed our bags full of cartons of 1 euro wine (yes 1 euro!) and made our way to the festival campsite which was the complete opposite to any festival campsite in the UK. You can pitch wherever you want, and there is no crowding at all! The campsite also had a pool which had the best atmosphere, however I couldn't take full advantage of cooling off in the pool because being me I got another tattoo whilst on holiday!
Whilst I was getting the tattoo there was a power cut in the square where I was getting it done... This lasted for 45 MINUTES! I thought I was going to have to go back to the UK with a half finished tattoo! Luckily the power came back on and we were good to go.

My two favourites of the festival we Foster The People and Arctic Monkeys. I seemed to be the only one at the festival that had listened to the new FTP album so I got a few weird looks when I was singing (screaming) along to every song.

My dad celebrated his 50th in July so I got to go home and celebrate with him at his party. He puts me to shame on the dance floor. It was also the first time I went out to town with my brother after he turned 18 - not as bad as I thought it was going to be! I wore a neon green/yellow dress that was only £13 from primark! I also noticed that Chloe Sims wore the same dress in orange on an episode of TOWIE.

Next week I'll be turning twenty which means people at uni can no longer take the piss out of me for the way that I say nineteen! I'm looking forward to it!

I haven't really done much else apart from acting like a sloth and blogging has taken the hit, but I'm going to try and keep on top of it. I say this but this is probably the third time now I've abandoned it!
