I'd had a really bad day a work last week so decided to go lipstick shopping to try and cheer myself up. I picked up five new lipsticks, but I've sadly lost my favourite of them all due to this weekends antics - It was the new L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in shade 600 Nude Vibrato. I'm not usually a fan of lipgloss or liquid lipstick because my hair tends to blow around and get stuck to my lips, but the colour of this was just amazing, I'll definitely be picking up another one!
This first two lipsticks I picked up were by Natural Collection and it was the price that I was drawn to more than anything. They were only £1.99 each (could have been £2.99 - I can't find them online) The price is reflected in the quality of the packaging and in the wear of the lipstick, but they're both great nude colours.
The first is Lotus - This is the lightest lipstick I bought (It hardly shows up on the swatch!), and it just helps to enhance you're natural lip colour. Like I said the wear isn't great and you do have to reapply it a few times through out the day.
The second is Sand Castle - This looks like it would be darker than it actually is. When I tested it I wasn't expecting it to come out as light as it actually did.
The third lipstick I picked up was one of the Rimmel London Colour Rush Balms - I chose shade 100 - Give me a cuddle. This is a lot pinker than any other lipsticks I own, I tend to stick to neutral colours, but due to summer approaching I thought it was about time I added some colour to my lips!
The final out of the four lipsticks that remain in my possession is a Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss. Apart from the L'Oreal Liquid Lipstick this is my favourite out of the Lipsticks, it's super moisturising and the colour intensity is fab! Again another pink for the collection.
