Using the Naked 3 pallet by Urban Decay I've created the perfect subtle smokey eye!
To start you need to apply some sort of eye shadow primer to make sure you shadow isn't going to make a move any time soon! I choose to use Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - simply because I've never tried anything else (any suggestions). Don't over do it with the primer, you only need a small amount and it will hold your make up for hours!
I then start to create my base. I have chosen to use strange from the Naked 3 pallet as it is a light colour and is great to add to. I apply it with the double sided brush that is included in the pallet and use the larger side to cover more of my lid. I tend to cover my whole lid and work it into my brow bone. Strange can also act as a highlighter for your eyebrows so don't be afraid to work right up to them!
Again using the larger side of the double sided brush included in the pallet I work Limit into my outer corners and crease. Make sure you really blend this in and work it through the whole of you crease as this is going to help you complete the smokey look.
I then take the same brush and work Nooner into my outer corners, this adds to the work that I've already done by using Limit in my crease.
I then take the smaller side of the brush and run factory across my top lash line, starting from my outer corners and stopping about a third in. This can act as a liner effect if you don't want to apply any, but also looks great when a dark black liner is added on top.\
I then use my real techniques deluxe crease brush and blend the shadow together to blend in any harsh lines. Top off with Benefit magic ink eyeliner and Collection 2000 5 in 1 mascara and you're ready to go!
Enjoy.
